Logistically the largest of the 5 Sub-Unions that constitute the Natal Rugby Union is the Durban Rugby Sub-Union which is based at Mr Price KINGS PARK.

Responsible for the administration of matters pertaining to rugby in the Durban area, the DRSU Council is comprised of representatives from all of the Premier Division clubs in the Durban area, representatives from the “Junior Clubs” and representatives from the Durban Development Committee, Primary and High Schools as well as the Durban Referees Sub-Society.

A secretary is permanently employed to administer the functions of the Sub-Union The DRSU is responsible for the running of the DRSU League competition, marketing and promotion of the game of rugby and the handling of disciplinary matters for fixtures played in Durban.
