Varsity College Old Boys RFC donated tackle bags to Durban Mets Rugby club and to Park Hill High School. Graham Thompson, Chairman of Varsity College Old Boys RFC, stated: "On behalf of Varsity College Old Boys, it gives us great pleasure to pass on our rugby tackle bags which are surplus to our requirements, and which we know will be of great benefit to Park Hill High School and the development rugby clubs that train at their grounds, and to Durban Mets Rugby Club."
