The Green Bottle Ballies The Green Bottle Ballies Rugby Club is a group of Golden Oldies rugby boys are putting together a fundraising family day on 21 November at their home grounds in Shongweni. Their club is based at the Shongweni Polo Club, which is the new home of the Hillcrest Rugby Club as well. Visit www.greenbottleballies.co.za.

The family day will be supported by the Umvoti Mounted Rifles the regiment that the late great Philip Nel served with as a Major during the Second World War. Also on hand will be the 3RD Paratroop Regiment who will be giving a high flying parachuting demonstration together with the pipe band of the Natal Mounted Rifles.

The day also includes a Golden Oldies rugby game between the past players of College Rovers and the Wanderers Rugby Club from Johannesburg together with other games and plenty of fun entertainment for the whole family.
