The President of the KZNRU Graham Mackenzie recently hosted a function in the old One Stop Suite for the two clubs sides representing the province in the Cell C Community Cup National Open Rugby Clubs competition, SA Home Loans Durban Collegians and Jonsson College Rovers, together with FNB UKZN Impi representing the Union in the Varsity Shield competition.

Mackenzie wished the Community Cup players well for the tournament, which kicks off on 21 February, whilst also congratulating the UKZN Impi on their two opening round wins. He further advised the players that the One Stop facility was now to be used for the clubs in future - an initiative that has been put in place to bring the rugby family closer together and that certainly deserves huge accolades.

Mackenzie further added that the facility that has some 200 seats will in future will be for all club players and their partners and wives so they can enjoy watching the Cell C Sharks in the comfort of their own suite with the opportunity of building friendly relationships among the clubs.

Durban Collegians and College Rovers have byes this weekend and open their respective Community Cup campaigns on Saturday 28 February in a double header on KP 10 the home of Durban Collegians. Rovers will meet Noordelikes in the early game while Collegians, the 2014 Fidelity Security Premier Division champions, play Welkom Rovers in the main game
