Weekend Preview

Acer Durban Collegians will want to get their season back on track when they host Varsity College Old Boys tonight (Friday) in a crucial Fidelity Security Premier Division game after going down to Harlequins last Saturday.

The result has almost certainly now left them out the race for top honours but they will be able to restore some of that pride and self belief that has made the club one of the most successful in the country over the years.

Log leaders College Rovers travel across the Umgeni to face Crusaders at their headquarters at Ranleigh Crescent. Rovers although looking very much like champions in waiting will still not take their hosts lightly and will certainly keep to the task of taking each game as it comes with every intention of retaining the oldest piece of rugby silverware in the country the 136 year old Moor Cup.

In the other games a much improved and confident Harlequins outfit travel to Empangeni to face Zululand Rhinos at Mick Kelly Park and Jaguars feeling very buoyant after picking up their first win of the season against the very same Rhinos last weekend will undoubtedly be looking a lot more confident especially on their home grounds in Sydenham.

All games kick off at 8pm.
