The 2010 Starlite Under 19 champions, Acer Durban Collegians, started their 2011 campaign to retain the trophy with a comprehensive 45-0 win over Varsity College Old Boys on KP 10 on Wednesday evening. Scoring an extra bonus point for the six tries they scored Collegians looked a hugely positive outfit and once again will be the side to watch. Collegians centre Divan Visser and Old Boys utility forward Chico Muya were awarded backline and forward player of the match awards and presented with Police sunglasses.

In the other game Bluff SuperSpar Harlequins beat a young Goss and Balfe Crusaders side 29-7 with Guy Alexander from Crusaders winning forward of the match and Harlequins centre Cor Rautenbach backline player of the match.

Jonsson College Rovers had a bye and will be in action next Wednesday.
