Day Two Round-up
Day two of the Coca-Cola Under 13 Craven Week, being hosted by Durban's Glenwood High School, saw KZN suffer a second defeat, going down 14-6 to Boland who remain unbeaten after two rounds.
Boland never had it easy against the hosts, who were determined to win their first match in front of their home crowd and a solitary try separated the teams at the break with Boland leading 7-nil.
The Boland team had the edge on attack though and that was always going to be to their advantage.
Two well-worked tries in each half proved the difference, but KZN should be encouraged by their strong showing.
Scorers:
Boland 14 (7). Tries: Brian Zake, Roann Jansen. Conversions: Conray Maart (2).
KZN 6 (0). Penalties: Dean Wolhuter (2).
Wednesday is a free day as the teams all take a break, with the competition resuming on Thursday.
